Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Angkor is a huge site with many Temples but the most formidable is the main one which is really beyond description.  It is surrounded by an outer wall and moat with avenues of palm trees and walkways.  Reminiscent of Monasteries in England before the Reformation, hospitals and libraries were attached to many Temples, the hub of their communities.
