Piazza in Pienza

I have always loved Umbria and particularly Pienza.  Watching their processions of flag throwers in Medieval costumes and wandering about the beautiful streets is one of the joys of Italy in Summer.  Nearby is La Foce where Iris Origo lived.  Her bravery during WW11 is documented in her book 'War in the Val D'Ocia.  Framed and Mounted watercolour 46 x 55 cm
